    International Charter Flight Arrives at Fukushima Airport
    On November 19th, the first international charter flight arrived at Fukushima Airport where all international flights were suspended after the March 11 earthquake and tsunami. The TransAsia Airways charter flight carried 178 passengers from Taiwan to Fukushima. They are going on to join a 4 day/3 night tour organized by a local travel company.read more

    Street Stands to Revive in Kesennuma!
    A quake-hit Minami-machi seaside street in Kesennuma, Miyagi Prefecture, is now the site of prefabricated “Fukko Yatai Mura (a cluster of street stands for recovery)” that opened on Saturday, November 12th.
