Access Train to Sendai Airport Fully Resume

DSC_0282 The quake-hit Sendai Airport access train resumed full service between Sendai railway station and the airport on October 1, the first time for 204 days since the Great East Japan Earthquake.
The line was partially operated between Sendai and Mitazono from July 23.

Forty round trips including 2 rapid services are scheduled per day and its shortest traveling time from Sendai to the airport is 17 minutes.

Two main gateways, air and land, in Tohoku are re-connected directly, as they were before the quake.
