Sendai Airport is making recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake.
The airport partially reopened from July 25 with the resumption of scheduled domestic flights and some international flights.
On September 25, a flight of Asiana Airlines from Seoul landed at 12:31 am, almost on time, marked its resumption of scheduled international flights.
More scheduled international flights will resume soon. On October 1, access to the airport by train, served by bus temporarily, will be also back as the line between Mitazono and Sendai Airport Stations reopens.
