Access from JR Koriyama Station to Inawashiro Ski Resort
For going to the Inawashiro Ski Resort, get on the Tohoku Shinkansen or Yamagata Shinkansen at JR Tokyo Station to JR Koriyama Station. It takes about 1 hour and 17 minutes at the shor
At Koriyama Station, change for Ban-etsu Saisen Line (local line), and get off at “Inawashiro Station.” It takes about 40 minutes at the shor
From Inawashiro Station, free shuttle buses run to each surrounding ski resort (except for the Ski Resort Minowa.)
The station has only one exit. Since a shuttle bus for each ski resort stands by at the rotary in front of the station, according to the arrival time of the train, please get on the bus after checking its destination.
There may be a free pickup to your hotel from the station. Please ask about the pickup when you reserve a hotel room.
Changing for Ban-etsu Saisen Line to Inawashiro Area
For going to Inawashoro area, get down to the 2nd floor by the escalator or stairs from the Shinkansen Platform, and go forward to Local Line Transfer Ticket Gate. (*Please do not go to the Central Exit, please go to the opposite direction, the station building, S-PAL)
Although there are two ticket gates, the right side one is the local line transfer ticket gate. (*Left side one is the ticket gate for the station building.)
When you exit the ticket gate, you can see the electric departure board for local lines.
The local line (Ban-etsu Saisen Line) track for Inawashiro/Aizu is Platform 1. When getting down the escalator or stairs, there is the local line (Ban-etsu Saisen Line) platform.
